Welcome to Minchinhampton Women’s Institute
Minchinhampton Women’s Institute (Minchinhampton WI) is part of the National Federation of Women’s Institutes, in the Gloucestershire Federation. The WI is the largest women’s organisation in the UK.
Minchinhampton WI meets on the first Wednesday of each month, starting at 2:30pm, in the Scout Hut on Dr Brown’s Road. Most meetings include a talk by a professional speaker and finish with refreshments. Meetings typically finish by about 4:30pm. Visitors are very welcome – your first visit is free and subsequent visits cost £4.
Our next meeting is our Summer Lunch, in Box Village Hall, on Wed 6th August. Please arrive at 12:30 for a 1pm lunch. There is limited car parking at the hall, so please share cars as much as possible.
Recent talks include Unusual Cures and Blood Galore (the History of Medicine) and Fraud Advice.
Membership of the WI is open to women aged 18 years or over, and costs £51 for the 2025-26 season (April 2025 – March 2026)
