Welcome to Minchinhampton Women’s Institute
Minchinhampton Women’s Institute (Minchinhampton WI) is part of the National Federation of Women’s Institutes, in the Gloucestershire Federation. The WI is the largest women’s organisation in the UK.
Minchinhampton WI meets on the first Wednesday of each month, starting at 2:30pm, in the Scout Hut on Dr Brown’s Road. Most meetings include a talk by a professional speaker and finish with refreshments. Meetings typically finish by about 4:30pm. Visitors are very welcome – your first visit is free and subsequent visits cost £4.
Recent talks at our regular monthly meetings include Unusual Cures and Blood Galore (the History of Medicine), the Dymock Poets and ‘Lost The Plot’.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 6th May when we have speakers from our chosen charity for 2026: St Rose’s School.
Membership of the WI is open to women aged 18 years or over, and costs £54 for the 2026-27 season (1 April 2026 – 31 March 2027).
